Ganesh and I met up at the Web 2.0 Expo in San Francisco to talk about the things that were announced at the show. Ganesh Sivaraman heads the global marketing of Web Technologies & Applications for S60 and has been instrumental in creating the excitement & awareness of the highly-acclaimed Web Browser for S60. Prior to joining S60 marketing team, Mr. Sivaraman was in charge of product management of S60 Rich Call and had the global responsibility for product creation, management and strategic direction. Mr. Sivaraman also represented Nokia as the lead delegate in mobile standardization bodies, such as SyncML and Open Mobile Alliance (OMA), as co-chairman in SyncML and vice-chairman in OMA Data Synchronization groups. Mr. Sivaraman has been with Nokia since 2000 and has a master's in science degree in Electronics.

I had the pleasure to chat with Oren Levine who is working in S60 marketing focusing on what S60 offers to software developers and others interested in creating new and interesting applications using the platform. We talked about the runtimes on S60, innovative new applications and the next events where you'll be able to find out about the latest S60 developments. Oren Levine brings almost 20 years of experience in software development and mobile communications to his role as Product Marketing Manager in Nokia’s S60 organization. He is responsible for promoting the runtime technology offering of the S60 platform, encouraging software developers to create innovative applications and services for mobile devices.
Oren joined Nokia in 2001, and held a variety of positions in product management, software development, and standardization. Before joining Nokia, he worked for over 10 years as a software engineer and architect, gaining experience in wide range of areas including 3D graphics, machine translation, Web application development and database design . Oren earned an M.S. degree in software engineering from Northeastern University and a B.S. in mechanical engineering from MIT.
