About me and this weblog

Hello earthing, let me introduce myself. My name is Tommi Vilkamo, and I'm the manager of Nokia Beta Labs.

This weblog is primarily focused on the blast furnace of Nokia software offering and the Internet forces. I'll try to target the most passionate 1% of Nokia/S60 users, industry insiders, application / Internet service developers, online journalists, bloggers, and other influencers. You are the ones that I want to talk to, and to learn from. This weblog is now dedicated to Nokia Beta Labs, about items that we launch there, and about how to take the whole concept to the next level.

How to write comments or contact me?

Feel absolutely free to comment. There is no pre-moderation. I trust you, please be nice. So far I haven't had to delete a single inappropriate comment.

You can also contact me privately by sending email to myfirstname.mylastname@gmail.com. Please note, however, that my email inbox is not an official feedback channel for Nokia, nor a bug reporting system. In any case, I will do my best to respond. And even if I don't, rest assured that I still appreciate your thoughts.

Mandatory disclaimer, to gain the freedom of speech:

The views expressed in this weblog are mine alone, and do not necessarily represent the views of Nokia.

Or as my friend Charlie Schick put it:

"Oh, of course, the above comments are mine, and mine alone, and does not reflect the views of my employer, Nokia Oy of Finland. Any similarities to persons real or ficitious is purely coincidental. Subtle caricature is purly intentional and offense not always meant. If you have differences to the above comments, you take life too seriously and should seek professional help or at least log-off, take a breather, have a lolipop, then go out and get fresh air."
