October 23, 2007 Device Status sis package (as you wished) Posted by Tommi at 04:46 PM | Categories: Nokia Beta Labs

Note from our Device Status team:

Hi, nice to get so much feedback from you! Now we start to provide also Device Status SISX application as a separate download for those users without Microsoft Windows based PCs. We originally decided to bundle distribution of PC and device application together, to make installation to device little bit easier. But based on your feedback, we start to provide alternative :) Keep those comments coming!

Download available here.

Update: comments thread closed. Nokia Beta Labs blog and all related discussions have been moved to http://betalabs.nokia.com/blog.

Good call with the PC+phone and just phone options. This way, you not only solve the "Not using Windows" problem, it's also easier to just install the phone component of the software if you had, say, reinstalled the firmware and only needed the app for the device, and already had it on the PC.
Much appreciated.

Is there a problem with E62? Neither this or conversation works on this device. None of Nokia websites have any SW update for E62, no more support for that device???

Thank you Tommi!!

Hi, nice to read so many positive comments about Device Status application. It's also great to see, that many of your comments&wishes for future improvements are similar, that we already have thought about, but are for some reason at the moment such, that can't be implemented. Let's see.

@Bogdan, there's menu option in "File" menu -> "Reinstall Device Status application to mobile device", if you have updated your device software, you can use this to reinstall software to your device from the PC application.
