« What should Nokia do next with 2D barcodes? | Main | Comeks gets VC funding »
Sami Lempinen has just started a really interesting blog Mac.sis | making macs and S60 handsets talk.
Quote:
Mac.sis is a resource dedicated to making most of Apple Macs coupled with S60 (née Series 60) based smartphones. While not always a marriage made in heaven, these two technological marvels do indeed get along, for better or for worse.
Now, that's a good niche to write about.
Sami is a colleague of mine from Nokia, but he runs the site as a private person in his free time. Sami seems to have lots of insights about using Mac and S60 together, but more importantly, he hopes to establish a community to help each other around this topic.
Subscribed.
Now, I just need to go buy a Mac...

Thanks, Tommi, for the link and the free publicity :)
As for buying a Mac I would recommend the same route I took: marry a graphics designer and the Macs just keep on coming.
Anyhow, everyone's welcome over to Mac.sis for a visit, and any comments and contributions are very much appreciated.
Yours,
Sami, from Mac.sis
Posted by: Sami | May 2, 2007 06:09 PMMore blogs like Mac.sis is exactly what is needed for the Mac community. There are so many different resources spread throughout the net and a single website that collects valuable information for Mac users would be perfect. It's not really a topic that I plan on expanding, but I actually shared my own experiences with my recently purchased Nokia N95 and OS X.
Posted by: Derek | May 2, 2007 06:18 PMHi Tommi,
Like Derek said! But also we need official support for those nasty people in Nokia :)
It would be great to see even some minor support, particularly things like firmware updates (not your thing I know Tommi).
thanks bernard

I am glad to see the site indeed. Now we just all need to contribute. ;)
