   It would be great to see you there - if you can make it for the preceding evening as well, you can be guests of honour (kind of) at the free AllAboutSymbian pre-show pub meeting!

   What about inviting couple of blog commenters there? E.g. the most active commenter, the most creative commenter and/or the randomly selected one. Would it be a wise investement?

   Well, my idea was not that much about this concrete show, but rather about one more general way to recognize external people who provide great ideas. Several times you told that some commenters’ ideas can be used to create even greater Nokia application. If some idea really pays of, it’d nice to recognize such an input and encourage others to participate.

   On the budget side, you could try teaming up with Forum Nokia Champion program. It looks like you both work on the same assignment, just from the different sides

   Yes, I’m going. Interestingly, even though I’ve registered on the web site and received a confirmation email, I still keep getting invitations in the mail. Why spend money posting me these things when I’m already signed up, show organiser?

   Please accept our apologies if the show marketing emails and brochures are causing irritation. We deliberately don’t remove the people who have already signed up because… (1) It improves conversion - it’s surprising how many people sign up and then forget about it. (2) The emails in particular contain informative content and updates - see post by Tommi Vilkamo RE: agenda. (3) we work with a number of show partners who help us market the event - it is usually not possible to remove the pre-registered people from their lists, so some overlap is inevitable. For these reasons we prefer to try and make all of our emails informative, and double-up as recruitment AND updates. If you would prefer not to receive further marketing for the show, please contact me and I will suppress you for the duration of the show marketing.    I’ll be there too. It’ll be good to meet some of the people that i read on the S60 blogs (Both Bloggers and those who leave comments). Is anyone planning to make it to the AllAboutSymbian Pub meet-up the night before the show kicks off.

   Unfortunately I will not be able to visit this year. I have to make a biz trip to London in Spetember and travelling 5000 odd miles again is something I’m not keen on doing. I think it will be Ramadan during this peiod which makes it all the more difficult to travel.
