« Screenshot 2.0 freeware for S60 3rd Edition | Main | Lifeblog installation problems with Nokia N90 »

Seems that the "Coming soon" sign under Nokia N91 and N80 has finally disappeared from our main Nokia.com site. Yeah!
(I think I'm not allowed to announce when Nokia devices start shipping, but I'm sure you'll get the point.)

But the N80's not showing up in the Asia Pacific site. Does this mean the N80 won't be available in Asia?
Posted by: spacehunt | April 12, 2006 11:34 AMI am probably not allowed to answer, since I haven't seen any public Nokia announcements.
But as you can see, N80 is there in the "upcoming models" section:

And remember that even the official sites (Nokia site, regional sites, Symbian site, S60 site) don't always update their pages in perfect synch.

Posted by: Antony Pranata | April 12, 2006 08:13 PMAnyway, I agree not many users need it.
Uupss.. sorry I posted comment in the wrong page. My last comment should go the previous page.
Posted by: Antony Pranata | April 12, 2006 08:17 PMAnyway, it would be interesting to see N80 shipping. N80 should become my favorite phone. It has almost everything I need: Quadband, 3G, WLAN, ...
What is it missing? :)
Posted by: Jukka | April 12, 2006 10:24 PMNokia seemed to stop saying when the device is shipping, because they did that with all s60 phones, but they didn't said that with 3250, and it's out. So you can say n80 has shipped! :)

Good point. You're right. But as we have already many freeware screenshot apps for S60 (thanks to you), I guess there is no need for me to go and convince people to add a built-in screenshot feature.
