Lifeblog installation problems with Nokia N90

Nokia S60 applications - April 12th, 2006 - Written by Tommi Vilkamo

Niko Nyman is having troubles installing Lifeblog 2.0 to his Nokia N90.

It sounds like a valid problem. Could somebody go and take a look at this?

It sounds as some kind of application conflict!?

He should try to bootup phone in safe mode without MMC; reinstall application in phone mem and try it once again.

BTW:
last but not the least he has Stone Age firmware version, its strongly suggestible to update it to the latest one:

By the way..

in meantime I made some tests and it seams that it doesn’t works on my baby to, I hadn’t problems with installation but application doesn’t work, splash and out
As I have older firmware version it really could be firmware issue?! Now I’m really curious about and I’ll test in on phone with latest firmware version ASAP and let you know is it work or not.

Yea, quite agree with U, it would be nice indeed, but.. ..

10X 4 the welcome Tommi, you know, I’m here from the beginning but I didn’t start with posting.

I was just too busy during that time that I didn’t visit the site often, mainly ‘cause may spare time is on the zero or even below

It seams that I have right, it’s the firmware issue definitely, Life Blog doesn’t work on the oldest firmware version, actually I made some test and here are the results:
- v 2.0527.2.3 - doesn’t work
- v 3.0545.5.1 - completely compatible
- v 5.0607.7.3 - completely compatible
