July 12, 2007 Best S60 games? Posted by at 03:33 PM | Categories: Games

You know what I don't do enough? Kill time with games... sweet, nourishing games...

But seriously. When I think of games for S60, I mostly think of Texas Hold'em and a bunch of puzzle games, as well as a lot of stuff that basically looks like what I (okay, my brother) used to play on the Nintendo Entertainment System. My bent runs to stuff like Bejeweled and Tetris, although I've also been known to kill eight hours in one sitting with Sid Meier's Civilization III or The Sims. Also a die-hard Zelda fan.

What do you play on your phone? Do you download games? Give me something to try!

SkyForce from Infiniti Dreams! Great game and reminds me of old days.

I love most of the games from Infinite Dreams, such as SkyForce and Super Miners.
I also like GameLoft's Brain Challenge. It is really addictive.
The Top Hits Solitaire is also another good game for S60 phone.

Well, I think as a simple freeware-game, FROZEN BUBBLE totally rocks. Took me weeks to review it, cos I always got totally addicted for hours each time I tried.. Sure S-Tris and Meteor are also must-haves. Guess i´m stuck with old arcade-games on the E61 ;)

Skyforce is an awesome game for those boring quick journeys.
Sudoku is always a good mind boggler, if you're into that sort of stuff.

well.you can also try Brother in Arms 3D, K-Rally, VP Mobile Pool, Need for speed, I hate guns, Space Impact. These are all symbian games. good graphics and all are more than a megabyte in size (up to 4,5 MB).

I agree with most of the above mentionned:
Bejeweled, Sky Force (totally addictive), KRally, Ludimate sensible sudoku, Top hits solitaire (forty thieves game), S-tris, virtual pool mobile, and for the fun digital chocolate's Johnny Crash and Johnny Crash does texas.
There was also a snowboarding game by digital chocolate (can't remember the exact name) that i was totally addicted to, a couple of months ago.

K-Rally really rocks. Along with that, my favorites are Project Gotham Racing (the Symbian version), Brothers in Arms 3D, Asphalt 2 3D, Snakes and Fifa 07(recently released Symbian version).

I like Frozen Bubble, Virtual Pool Mobile, Sensible Sudoku, (though the free Sudoku with the Asian N80s isn't bad), and S-Tris. I haven't found a way to play driving games without hitting the Multimedia Button accidentally and driving myself crazy.

I play turn based RPGs like final fantasy, lord of the rings: the third age, kingdom hearts and etc :) All these with the vBax GBA emulator!

With scummvm you can replay all the classic Lucasarts adventure games that you have gathering dust on the shelf.

Christ,

where can you find the games and emulator in your post? I wouldn't mind playing some RPGs on my N76.

Oh, and there's even on online MMORPG for S60 - TibiaME, check it out at www.tibiame.com, maybe it's even worth a post someday. :)

As for GBA, Final Fantasy Tactics Advance is a great game indeed, and you can remap your keys on the N95 so you don't have to slide it to play. :)

Help! Final Fantasy on N95 sounds awesome but I have no clue where to get it or how to play it on my phone.
