Calling all Innovators (including super-genius Dean Kamen)!
Forum Nokia’s “Calling All Innovators” contest, which is now open for submissions, could have you S60 developers seeing green in more ways than one.
First, there’s the green that helps the planet: your mission is to create an application that can benefit society at-large.
Next, there’s the lucrative kind of green: up to USD $150,000 in cash and prizes, along with access to official Nokia channels for app distribution.
And finally, there’s the green your skin will turn if you don’t submit: you’ll be green with envy when your developer friends or staunch competitors win because you were too lazy to participate!*
There are three submission categories to choose from (including ECO-Challenge, Emerging Markets and Technology Showcase), which means you have multiple chances to win. So go nuts!
Oh, and did I mention that super-genius Dean Kamen, who spoke at the “Evening with S60 in NYC” last night, has endorsed the contest? The brilliant entrepreneur, mastermind of the Segway PT and founder of FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) is working with Nokia for the contest and is going to be doing some awesome stuff with us. Stay posted for more info about Dean’s involvement!
*participation in Calling All Innovators contest will not actually turn your skin green

Is it a bug or a feature that the ‘Submit your application now, and show…’ big arrow does not take user to the UploadYourApplication page?
Yes: mobile python is cool and very productive! My friend-finder bluetooth app took somewhat over an hour to type and test!…
