Today we announced six new S60 devices Nokia N96, Nokia N78, Nokia 6220 Classic and Nokia 6210 Navigator. In addition Samsung announced the SGH-G810 and LG-KT610. The Nokia devices are all S60 feature pack 2 and the LG and Samsung are S60 3rd edition feature pack 1devices. Read more about all the devices after the jump.

The Nokia N96 lets you immerse yourself in entertainment with high-quality video, on the brilliant 2.8” display and with superb sound. This device is equipped with a 5 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss Optics and camcorder function with video light in addition with 16 gigabytes of memory to take your videos, music and other content with you. Included is also integrated A-GPS and rich maps. Read more from here.

The Nokia N78 is a sleek designed, fully featured multimedia computer. This device enables you to search and find places and tells you how to get there, with integrated A-GPS. Automatically tag your images with capture location, and upload to the web to share with friends. Access the web more quickly and easily with 3.5G or WLAN connection. Read more from here.

The Nokia 6220 Classic is a compact device that comes with high-quality imaging features: a 5 megapixel camera, Xenon flash and Carl Zeiss optics making it a credible and reasonable priced alternative for single purpose digital still cameras. Nokia 6220 offers full smartphone capabilities in a compact device with browser, instant messasing, email, integrated A-GPS, widgets, FM and a MP3 player. Read more from here.

The Nokia 6210 Navigator features a liquid-feel front, metallic casing and flashing light effects on the Navigator key. The wide 2.4” screen displays up to 16 million colors. The Nokia 6210 Navigator comes with a 3.2 megapixel camera and accelerometer for the switching between landscape and portrait UI modes. The accelometer also silences the ringing tone by flipping the phone around. A-GPS and Navigation and Nokia Maps with updated services make the device an ideal travel companion by offering, e.g. pre-installed navigation licenses, pedestrian navigation support & “bread crumbs” walking history, compass assisted map orientation and a lot more.

The LG-KT610 is a GPS-enabled device with a 2.4 QVGA flip screen holding a PC-like qwerty keypad. Based on Symbian OS™ v9.2 and S60 3rd Edition Feature Pack 1, LG-KT610's users can take full advantage of a rich suite of multimedia features and applications. The new LG-KT610 is powered with HSDPA connectivity at 3.6 Mbps and GPS navigation capabilities. The N96 is looking good spec wise. However, to my untrained eye the keys may as well be Egyption hieroglyphics with all those unfathomable symbols!

16GB storage space is very generous (it's 4x more than what my laptop has!) Will there be some kind of PVR capability with that DVB-H tuner? With faster networks and cheaper data plans (ie no need to load the phone up to the brim with music, movies and maps) it would seem there'd be a lot of room to do some TV time-shifting
