December 20, 2007 Nice to meet you & happy holidays from the S60 team! Posted by Saara at 01:14 PM | Categories: S60 News

Thanks again Phil for your kind words! We’ll definitely miss you here. Indeed, I’m glad to tell you I’ll be your new host on the See into S60 blog from the beginning of January onwards.

To tell you the truth, Phil’s boots feel quite big to fill as he’s done an excellent job on the S60 blogs during the past years. At the same time I’m super excited about this new challenge and am looking forward to get to know you all! I hope I’ll be able to bring the same enthusiasm about S60 to this blog as Phil has – with my personal touch of course.

My intention is to develop this blog according to your wishes and needs, so I’m looking forward to hearing your comments, suggestions, and criticism too!

In the meantime I could share some news about the latest developments on S60.com that we’ve been busily working on. The first thing you’ll probably notice is the front page face-lift in addition with many other tweaks that'll hopefully improve the usability of the site. If you are registered to My S60, please go ahead and complete your profile with your unique username after logging in.

I’m also happy to tell you that from now on you’ll be able to write your own reviews about all applications downloadable from S60.com. Check out our application downloads section and write your review.

Thank you also for your excellent ideas and suggestions on our Feature wishlist! We have examined them closely and taken them into consideration. Take a look at the analysis & feedback. Please do not hesitate to send us any further ideas and suggestions you may have.

Stay tuned – new stuff will launched already in February. Happy holidays from all of us at the S60 team!

Phil did podcasts once every 2 to 3 weeks, I would like to see if you could post interviews (text) at least once every week. Let us know the S60 team, why things were created the way they currently are, etc.

The people who write the S60 blogs do more for the brand than the logo or corporate slogans.

I'd second Stefan's request, but I'd also like to see a continuance of the Voice of S60 podcast, and perhaps even (if they're up for it) a Face of S60 video podcast?

Faces of S60, I love the idea!
