Just a quick update - We talked a few weeks ago about a maximum volume level bug found on some Nokia E-series devices after the user updated the firmware.
This problem had been reported to the E-series team a while back and I've been informed from the team that they're working diligently to resolve this issue.
I'll let you know when I hear more!

Super!I've so been waiting for this! It's a shame that such an important part of my E70 usage was struck down by this bug. I suppose that a software update will come along. Will it be available for all E-series models? What else will it contain? Thanks!
Posted by: Adrian | December 4, 2006 07:46 PMThat is great news indeed. After I updated my E61 to the latest firmware I could no longer enjoy listening to music because the sound was too low.

Traditionally, these firmware updates just contain bug fixes, tweaks, etc..
Posted by: Phil | December 5, 2006 10:38 AMHow come new firmware takes so long to come through Phil? We are all waiting for V3.0633.09.04 which has a date of 20 Nov 06, any idea how long we have to wait till it hits NSU or service centres?
Posted by: blushy | December 7, 2006 09:11 AMHello Phil! Any news on the update?
