August 31, 2006 New features added to S60.com Posted by Phil Schwarzmann at 01:28 PM | Categories: S60 News

New features are constantly being developed for S60.com, a few new features went live today...

- "Tell-a-Friend" allows you to recommend a S60 application to a friend. Your friend will be contacted via e-mail with info about that app and a link to find out more info and download a demo. This feature is found in the flash found on the main page.

- You can send an SMS to your phone containing a direct link to our S60 Mobile Site.

- The current and all previous S60.com monthly newsletters are online and available for registered users of S60.com

- When downloading applications via the S60 Mobile Site, you are no longer offered .zip files, the files are first unpacked on the server and sent to you.

A nice few additions... Why isn't there a QRCode barcode on the mobile site page? It'd be a prime way to get a few people wondering what it is to get some software to read it (if there was some, that is) :o) It could save you on the SMS costs too :o)
