Transfer Feeds & Directories between Devices
Darla Mack had asked about how to make the podcast feeds easy to transfer between compatible devices. (See Darla’s post: http://darlamack.blogs.com/darlamack/2006/10/exporting_feeds.html)
You can already send both OPML Directories and RSS feeds with Nokia Podcasting to other users who have Nokia Podcasting installed.
In summary, just find the podcast you want to send from “Podcasts”, click “Option” then choose “Send” (via Bluetooth or Multimedia). Your other device will receive a Bluetooth message which will add the feed to your Directories where you can then subscribe to it.

Here is the step by step guide (It looks more complicated than it really is.):
1. Sending an RSS Feed
a. Open Nokia Podcasting and open “Podcast.” Find a previously subscribed Podcast or manually add a favourite podcast feed (Podcast>Options>New Podcast)
b. Choose the podcast that you want to transfer. Click “Options>Send>Via Bluetooth (or Via Multimedia)”
c. If Bluetooth (BT), then Nokia Podcasting will then search for other BT devices which are turned on and not hidden. Choose the device you want to transfer the RSS Feed to.
d. The receiving device will show “Receive message via Bluetooth from DEVICENAME?” (Yes/ No). Click “Yes”
The receiving device will get a message which will be a Bluetooth icon with Podcasting.opml.
e. Click to open the Bluetooth Message to see “Import OPML File to Podcasting directories?” (Yes/No). Click “Yes”. The sent RSS feed will show in the “Directories” section in a “Received” folder.
f. Exit that view and lanch the Podcating application. Open “Directories” and then open the “Received” folder. Click the name of the Podcast to subscribe.
2. Sending an OPML Directory
To Transfer full OPML directories, follow the same steps only start from “Directories” instead of from “Podcasts.”
TIP: You can create your own free OPML directory from www.opmlmanager.com. You can manually add your new opml file to “Directories” (Directories > Options > New > Web Directory) or save and import (Directories>Options>Import OPML File)
Once your OPML file is on your Nokia Podcasting, then you can share it with others.
Hope that helps.

Steve,
Thank you so much for addressing this!! I actually heard your OPML tip during your podcast with Phil podcast and that seems to be the easiest solution to my problem!
I thank you for your comment.
