« PAMP Your Phone | Main | Desktop widgets available! »
New Calendar. SMS Inbox. RSS feeds. And more! Release 1.2 beta is now available for download.
The Calendar application has been completely re-designed, making it much more usable. You can now use the calendar more flexibly, for example share your calendar availability for visitors without showing the details of events. The Messaging application now includes SMS inbox and sent messages. Finding messages and replying to them is easier than ever!
This release will make it more usable and fun for yourself and we hope will boost the sharing aspects as well. Install, start using it and let us know what you think!
Update 1.2.2008: There is a problem with certain language variants of certain phone models (for example N95-3 NAM). Application will install but show 4 different icons on the grid and it won't work. The fix is already being implemented and will be made available soon. Thanks for your patience.
PS. Don't forget these: widgets and badge.

Nice jop Jukka ;)
Posted by: iMPACT | January 24, 2008 11:48 AMbut i am wondering if i can add another language to the site interface such as arabic :)?
Since the first release I've noticed the following (on two different phones, E61i and E51):
MESSAGES > NEW MESSAGE > BLOG ENTRY only lets you compose a new e-mail through the classic client;
no problem if you select MESSAGES > OPTIONS > CREATE MESSAGE (don't know this exactly in english, I use italian language...) > BLOG ENTRY.
Ciao! :-)
Posted by: Gabriele | January 24, 2008 11:02 PMGabriele, you are correct we are only able to "send" new blog messages via "classic" S60 application.
Posted by: Jukka Eklund | January 26, 2008 07:32 PMMobilePublisher has written a short-news about "Mobile Web Server" on http://mpub.mobi/node/277.
Posted by: MobilePublisher | January 27, 2008 10:11 PMOnly thing is I can't register a site because it always fails with a "couldn't send email to this address" message - regardless of which email address I enter!
Any ideas?

Posted by: Dave | January 28, 2008 03:41 PMDave, that problem should now be solved!
Posted by: Jukka Eklund | January 29, 2008 09:06 AM@iMPACT: Sorry about delay responding, I have been trying to contact one person who did it already for Swedish and succeeded. So it's possible and I'd like to tell you how but it will be a while still. If you want to try you could start building your own .loc files in the framework.
Posted by: Jukka Eklund | January 29, 2008 11:09 AMHi, I'm using a US N95 but I can't seem to install MWS 1.2. I've removed the previous version of MWS and Python as well. The installation seems like it worked fine, however, MWS isn't installed properly and I get "puzzle" icon in my Applications folder.
Here are the details of my device from *#0000#

Nokia N95 (19.01)
Thank you!
Posted by: Patrick | January 29, 2008 08:29 PM@Patrick, all: Yes we are having a problem at the moment with at least N95-3 and 6120 classic devices. Thanks for your patience while we try to figure it out.

Posted by: Patrick | January 30, 2008 03:21 AMNo problem. Take all the time you need.
Seems like E65 has some problems also, tried to install it yesterday after finding out it would not work on my N95-3, got the "puzzle" icons, rebooted and got "system error" x4 while booting.
Posted by: Olli Rita | January 30, 2008 03:57 PM@Olli Rita: Is your E65 also a US version?
Posted by: Jukka Eklund | January 30, 2008 04:31 PM@Jukka
Yes it is.
