Hello and welcome! I'm your host, Neil. So who am I and what do I do? Well, I am a security professional who specialises in Mobile Security and I work in the 'IT Department' at Nokia. Part of my job is to evaluate different security products and keep up to date with the latest going's on in the field. Since I am doing this virtually on a daily basis, I figured why not blog about it? By sharing my opinions and ideas, I aim to provoke you into sharing yours.
Within these pages, you will find news, reviews and product evaluations of S60 security products. So if you or your company have a Symbian related security product, why not send me a copy for a test drive? (My contact information is below).
So maybe you are an admin in an IT department. Is it your job to deploy solutions inside your company? By following this blog you will find out what hot and what's not, what's suitable for what and so on. By having a good understanding of both the problems and the solutions it will influence your decision making so that hopefully you get it right first time.
Since software vendors also read this blog, so any feedback you leave will be read and (hopefully) taken on board for improvements to their products. So please don't hide behind your keyboard. I want to actively encourage you to leave comments and feedback. It is all welcomed and valued - honest! :D
