Submitting a bugzilla support request, illustrated!

Screencast, Support - April 30th, 2008 - Written by Matt Salmo

Some of my fellow support co-workers have blogged about the fact that we now have a great way for customers to file issues and stay informed of the progress: Bugzilla!

I thought I’d go one step further and create a screencast that covers the process, enjoy:

Got ideas for screencasts you’d like to see? Leave us some feedback here and we’ll get on it!

    Great video!

I wanted to point out though, you’re using Bugzilla 3.0, and the new account process is actually different than what you showed in the video. When you enter the email address on the signup page, it doesn’t mail you a password anymore (older versions did, but we chagned that). It now mails you a validation link to click. When you click the link, you get a page that lets you set up your real name and choose your own password.

Good to get some feedback about the video, thanks for the update on how the new version works also!
