I've had lots of questions and interest in the S60 Ambassador program since the two pilots ended, and I don't think there is currently a place where the "basics" can be looked up, so here's a recap of what we are doing and when:

What is it?

The S60 Marketing team would like to encourage people to talk about S60-based products and services. To that end, we are building a website where our fans can sign up to be S60 Ambassadors. After signing up, S60 Ambassadors will be selected to take part in specific campaigns promoting S60-based product and services. As part of the campaign, we'll introduce the selected Ambassadors to a particular device/service/software enhancement. The Ambassadors will then talk to friends, family, co-workers neighbors about the product or service. In each conversation, the Ambassador is up-front about the fact that they are participating in an Ambassador campaign.

The Ambassadors earn points by submitting reports about the conversations they have had. The best and most active Ambassadors in each campaign win S60-based products or services.

When will this happen?

We will launch the international site in April. We are currently talking to licensees about running one or more additional Ambassador pilots before then.
