N-gage Report of the Week: Cut Your Hair!
Our Report of the Week comes from Khoury who proves that saving princesses is not just for guys, and gets a great deal on a haircut while she’s at it: Check it out:
My story
3pm on New Year’s eve, I decided to try the new hairdresser salon that just opened in my building: 5000LBP (~ 3.66$) for a brushing is hard to beat! While sitting there getting my hair washed & brushed, I started playing Reset Generation.
2mins into the game the hairdresser got curious & his assistant had more eyes on my screen than he had on my hair. 1min later, the hairdresser asks what game I’m playing. I say it’s “Reset Generation” & as he looks at me puzzled, I explain that it’s a “Nokia game”. He asks if my phone is new cuz he knows the new Nokia devices have some “special” games. I nod & say it’s N-Gage & that I’m an ambassador for a global campaign around it. I show him Hedgehog, say he’s like Sonic & explain that the game builds around characters from our childhood. He seems amused but goes on working, but his assistant asks what the purpose of the game is. “Rescue the princess”, so he frowns a bit thinking it’s a girl’s game & I say that there are different rounds with 3 stages, weapons, special moves, enemies & a lot of fun. As I go on trying to grab the Plumber’s princess, I explain each of my moves & why I decided to fire a double canon on a paintbrush to protect it. He followed the game closely & suggested a few moves so I handed him my N82 and let him try it.
After my brushing was done, the hairdresser regretted that we talked about the game the whole time & he didn’t ask my name or where I live.
WoM marketing + very good hair brushing= 5000LBP well spent!
The feedback I got
The hairdresser raised one issue that I find a bit annoying as well: we can’t see the whole playfield on the screen, which means we have to keep scrolling in order to see what other items are available, and what other players are up to. It would be much nicer if we could see everything on one screen without a need to scroll around.
Thanks Khoury! Mike will be in touch with your Star Wars activation code. Enjoy!
Ambassadors: Remember that you don’t *have* to fill out the “Feedback I got” section in order to submit your report. We added that in so that you could *just* submit feedback in lieu of a WoM report.

Oooh, thanks for choosing my report
though i have to point out that the result was a bit better than the image
