Legend’s journalists wanted!

Commentary - December 18th, 2008 - Written by Saara Bergström

You’ve probably heard about the Legends Telegraph, right? Nokia is all about innovation and technology, whether in devices or services. Behind every great innovation works an army of researchers, engineers, and designers. Each innovation has its own story.

The Legends idea was sparked by the need to tell stories about the innovation going on inside Nokia. Now, we all know at least one urban legend, a fascinating and intriguing tale which we suspect may not be true. In this case, unlike many urban legends, the Legends are very real.

You’ve probably watched some of the stories on the Legends website, but now it’s possible for you to create your own unbelievable story based on mobile technology. I’m sure you could come up with quite a few!

And what’s in it for you then? The winner gets his/her story published at the Legends website in March 2009. The winner also gets an awesome Nokia device as a prize!

Check out the Legends site and click the “Create and Publish Your Own Legend” banner to submit your story at www.legendstelegraph.com/journalistwanted. Unleash your creativity!

does the legend need to be true? Or are ppl supposed to just make up stuff?

    Hi JP,
Your legend can be either real or “urban”, you choose :-). However, it would be great if your legend would be somehow linked to mobile technology. This technology can be already in the market, under development (futuristic) or it can be some imaginary technology you feel would make a difference or at least a great legend.
