N-Gage Report of the Week: On the Bus
Riding on the bus, waiting for the bus, checking bus schedules, driving the bus….all these activities lend themselves to Word of Mouth. This week’s Report of the Week winner took advantage of some downtime to play a few games on N-Gage, and won a few admirers while he was at it. Check it out:
It was 8 AM. It had been two hours since we left our school for a 3 day educational tour to Shimla, a very famous hill station of northern India. The journey to Shimla was still 4 hrs long. I was sitting beside the window. So whenever I saw outside I only had to see vehicles passing by. So the journey was kinda boring and monotonous. To pass my time I took out my N95. Started the N-gage app. and started playing ONE, which I recently bought. After seeing me for a few minutes,4 my friends sitting nearby asked me,” Are you playing a game on a PSP or a mobile device b’coz we have never seen a game with such superb graphics running on a mobile device”. I proudly said that this is my N95 which not only is my pocket gaming device but also is my wayfinder with inbuilt GPS, 5MP camera, an I-pod and so on. They said,” We also want to play this game”. So they gave me their N82’s, N78’s etc. I downloaded N-gage app. on their device which took a little bit of time. And then ONE game. So we played ONE via Bluetooth with each other. There were also few others who joined us who didn’t have N-gage compatible Devices. So they played their part as spectators cheering for one another. So we kind of played ONE tournament in the bus and played one on one matches with each other. And at last who was the winner?? Off course me. After all S60 ambassadors shine wherever they go!
So a monotonous journey turned into enjoyable and a PHONE-A-MENAL journey.Also not to forget I told them that I am a S60 ambassador and also told them, what is S60? What are its features?? How an S60 phone is better than other phones?? How they can become a S60 ambassador and win prizes by joining different campaigns on S60.com and telling people about the benefits of S60 phones………

Thanks for the Report Vishesh, But I want to know that did you buy them the N-gage ONE game or you Downloaded them Demo of ONE game. Because as in my knowledge the Demo Game of ONE N-gage did not have any Bluetooth Multi-player option , So how the Hell did you play Multiplayer on ONE N-gage, I request Danial to please ask him to specify the Activation of game he downloaded on his friends Device.

which is an introduction like he’s telling to friends who don’t own S60 mobile (N-series Mobile); where as they had N82, N78 which are similar in features!
Well 2 of ma ambassador frnds have raised questions bout my report……..so itz my prior duty to answer their questions….

Well as u might know that nokiangageindia.com were offering free n-gage activation codes for those who would register on their site…..so i registered on their site my 4 different email id with N-gage player names…and I got 4 activation codes…..two for the game ONE, 1 brothers in arms and 1 act. code for bounce boing voyage game…..since i had a full version ONE game on my N95…….I gave the two other codes to two of my friends…….and one who had N-gage compatible device had to compromise with the demo version….so I played One game with two of my friends via bluetooth…OKiezzz

well I must tell u…..Cann’t I have a discussion with my friends…….about features of my device….and my phone z superior than ur phone kind of stuff……..????
On ur other question I should tell you that I have a BSNL postpaid sim with a data plan of Rs 199/month in which u can surf and download unlimited as informed to me by BSNL….so firstly I put My sim into my three friends’ sim and then downloaded ONE game and N-gage app..and also activated the game….
I think I have answered to both of my fellow ambassadors’ questions full to my knowledge and removed their doubts…….

Thanks for answering, But I think You are lucky one, Two get Activation Code Twice of ONE game with same N-gage Player ID. which is not possible as in my knowledge .Any way thanks for Answering. n btw N95 is not SUPERIOR…. just a bigger screen than N82 and doesn’t have xenon flash

It’s good to see some vibrant discussions about the Report of the Week. We’ve reviewed Vishesh’s report and we’re happy that he is on the up and up. To Irfan and Fakhre’s points, though, we do occasionally find some reports which stretch credulity. As a rule, we certainly don’t want to award “Report of the Week” honors to untrue reports. So we appreciate getting local perspective about this report, and we promise to continue to be vigilant in order to make sure that only true, honest, WoM is rewarded. After all, it is honesty which makes WoM valuable in the first place, and the last thing we want to do is compromise that honesty.

as far as the EDGE package is concerned, i use AirTel Mobile Office, its Rs 250 a month and can be used on ur laptop too with unlimited download.
