Report of the Week for Maps 2.0: Rachaelsmom Does Good
Our Report of the Week this week comes from Ambassador “Rachaelsmom” who combined a word of mouth report with a mitzvah. She showed off what the N95 with Maps 2.0 could do for victimes of Brain Injuries at the 6th Annual Walk for Brain Injury Awareness.
Read all about it:
“I have a few traumatic brain injuries and I can’t find my way to places, even that I have already gone to. My mind forgets, but I found that Nokia maps and voice simulation can get me anywhere. I consider it a “must.” As an Ambassador, I told as many people at the Boston 6th annual walk for Head Injury Awareness this year and the rehabilitation folks. Actually I think the head injured new more than the rehab professionals. I showed off my N95, showed my stored memory of addresses and how the device worked. They were amazed and could not believe how helpful this is for people of every ability and especialy those of us in Boston (streets and constructionalways changing). By the way, I have used a Samsung Ace (Sprint) side-by-side with my Nokia and the Sprint drops signal, looses it’s direction and I did not get it to speak. The voice, accuracy and clear screen of the Nokia are the big winners.”
Thanks Rachaelsmom! For your efforts we’re sending you an E71 loaner. From the sounds of things you’ll have plenty of friends worthy borrowing it from you.
As a reminder to our new readers….S60 Ambassadors sign up and help us spread the word about the features and benefits of S60-based devices and services — such as Maps 2.0 — both on and offline.
