   Hi. I got a dumb question but its been bugging me a while.

   Why does forum.nokia.com’s documents have flash lite 3.0/web runtime as exclusive to feature pack 2 onwards when it is not the case.

   You forgot E90, it also recently got the big firmware update with WRT/FL3 support included.

   Thanks for your comments. I know it’s old news - but wanted to make sure it doesn’t go unnoticed by anyone having asked.

   @John. On S60 platform relesaes, Web Run-Time and FL3 are indeed part of S60 3rd Edition FP2 not FP1. However some selected FP1 based devices have decided to “backport” that functionality to FP1.

   Hello John, good question!

   I have been asking that too, especially as I wished to have an earlier browser upgrade on my E70, - which is an FP0 device - but I was refused with the reasoning that FP0 devices not supposed to get FP1 features.

   However now FP2 browser is coming to FP1 devices while we were refused to get the FP1 browser for our FP0 devices.

   Why? I have a two years Nokia guarantie still walid on my E70, so why am I not getting bug fixes and software upgrades in FP0 when it is avaliable for FP1 devices?

   I know it is marketing, but is it fair?

   Mikko - also, this isn’t entirely accurate, as the N95-3 NAM has yet to receive any substantial update, such as Web Runtime support or Flash Lite 3. In fact, us N95-3 owners are pretty upset, as this is the ONLY model of the N95 that hasn’t recieved these useful updates. Any word on an update for the N95-3, since everyone else is getting it, or is Nokia not really concerned about this model, specifically made for the North American market?
