3neXt, a co-created mobile application site (by an operator!)
3rd party S60 applications

Via Open Gardens, I just learned about 3neXt, a brand-new mobile applications site by the UK operator 3. They are trying, over time, to build a large catalogue of links to interesting mobile applications and services. What I find the most interesting, is that they invite the users to suggest, vote, and rate the items. Now, that’s not something I would expect from the other, more traditional operators… Once again, 3, I salute you!
I wonder should we at Nokia/S60 do something similar?
Of course you (i.e.Nokia) should do something similar, your question is rhetoric.
But what should you do with Downloads app? there are too many problems/chaos in there.

You have something very similar at S60.mobi. The better question is (as I’ve been discussing via email with Phil) why isn’t this publicized? I’m pretty well read on what’s available, and I merely stumbled upon it. Why doesn’t Nokia/S60 publicize it?
